Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 7, 2026
Tend is a calm micro-cleaning app made to help you care for your home. This policy explains what data Tend handles — which is easy, because the answer is: everything stays on your device.
What we collect
Nothing. Tend collects no personal data, no usage analytics, no identifiers, and no diagnostics. There are no accounts, no sign-ins, no third-party SDKs, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind.
What stays on your device
Everything you create in Tend is stored locally on your iPhone:
- Your home setup — rooms, cleaning tasks, schedules, and preferences
- Your completion history and progress
- Your sanctuary — earned items, arrangement, and companion wardrobe
- Your optional daily mood notes
- Your reminder and sound settings
This data never leaves your device. Tend has no servers and makes no network requests. If you use iCloud device backups, your Tend data may be included in your encrypted device backup, which is managed by Apple under Apple's terms — Tend has no access to it.
Tend's Home Screen widgets read a small summary of today's plan (task counts and names) from a private shared container on your device so they can display it. That summary never leaves your device either.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, Tend schedules local notifications on your device. These are created and delivered entirely on-device. You can turn them off at any time in Tend's settings or in iOS Settings.
Your choices
- Delete your data: deleting the app deletes all of Tend's data.
- Notifications: entirely optional, and off until you opt in.
Children's privacy
Tend does not collect data from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes (for example, if a future version adds an optional sync feature), the updated policy will be posted at this address and summarized in the App Store release notes before the change takes effect.
